Progressivism-A Lie That Cannot Be Equaled
The altering of our Constitution's interpretation and its historic context was initiated by Woodrow Wilson when he said: "All that progressives ask or desire," wrote Woodrow Wilson, "is permission -- in an era when development, evolution, is a scientific word -- to interpret the Constitution according to the Darwinian principle; all they ask is recognition of the fact that a nation is a living thing and not a machine." Woodrow Wilson's statement is to establish society as a person onto itself and is as specious of a claim as the name 'mother-nature'-of which neither one exists. Progressives are inherently a half a bubble off.
I think it is time we conservatives take the initiative of examining the Presidential and all oaths of office and impeach those who breach its decree. It is an absolute critical part of preserving our Constitution as ordained and established.
The oath of office of the President of the United States is an oath or affirmation required by the United States Constitution before the President begins the execution of the office. The wording is specified in Article Two, Section One, Clause Eight:
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. Conservatives are going to have to see that 'preserving' the Constitution means interpreting it in the context of its historical background and not what progressives want it to mean now or in the future.

Since Woodrow Wilson took this oath of office, progressivism also took control of interpreting our Constitution. To reinterpret the Constitution by any other way than what our Framers diligently professed it to mean is to breach the oath of office and the public trust. Note that Woodrow Wilson asked permission to reinterpret the Constitution-effectively side stepping his oath of office. Woodrow Wilson and all other progressives do not want to 'preserve, protect and defend' the historical context of our Constitution as established and ordained by our Founding Fathers-that is a self-admitted fact on their part.
To take the oath of office of President of the United States and knowing you do not want to preserve its true intent is to perpetrate an egregious lie that cannot be equaled.
Woodrow Wilson had a Ph.D. in government science. His doctorate was based on a critique of our Constitution as antiquated and pre-modern. And our current President has no intention of upholding his oath of office either.
James Madison once stated, "Do not separate text from historical background. If you do, you will have perverted and subverted the Constitution, which can only end in a distorted, bastardized form of illegitimate government."
If you do not think that the progressives have not distorted, bastardized and formed an illegitimate government since they took control of interpreting our Constitution you are not paying attention. - Or you have been thoroughly indoctrinated into their mindset via their control of our education. Remember-Woodrow Wilson is referred to as the "school master" for a progressive reason.
Imagine what James Madison would say today about the concept of social justice. Social justice is the cornerstone of progressivism. The New Deal Coalition and the religious factions advocated social justice. This is in and of itself a bastardizing of the Preamble and Constitutional justice.
Is it just to destroy one liberty to create another liberty where there was not? What have we gained since then other than government now creates human rights at the destruction of unalienable God given rights.
The creators and advocates of Social Justice have finally been bitten in the derriere with what is progressivism-or as George Washington put it: "Arbitrary power is most easily established on the ruins of liberty abused to licentiousness." Progressivism is Licentiousness; the discarding of an others liberties.
Limiting your moral obligations by relinquishing them to the state has some grievous unintended consequences. One of those is Health and Human Services latest decree that you will provide birth control despite the 1st Amendment-and what is yet to come is gay marriage.
James Madison was quoted as saying, "And I have no doubt that every new example will succeed, as every past one has done, in showing that religion and Government will both exist in greater purity, the less they are mixed together."
There were a many religious factions that joined hands with government in the New Deal Coalition. HHS is a product of that New Deal Coalition. The religious factions unwittingly aided in releasing government from the bonds of Constitution restraint-and in the name of security-liberty was surrendered and moral obligations subverted.
If you find your 1st Amendment freedom of religion under assault-now you know why-government is now defining moral obligations for you and you don't like it.
Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. (George Washington)
Walking back HHS's decree of providing insurance for birth control and reproductive services to employees of religious institutions are baby steps. You are going to have to walk-back to the New Deal to get your 1st Amendment back and reclaim your moral obligations.
I would be careful when a politician like FDR says, "I am a Christian and a Democrat and that's all."
