Preston enjoyed dancing and drumming at powwows and competing at both. He was highly respected for his knowledge of Ojibwe culture and traditions, learning to grass dance and sing at the age of three years old. This allowed Preston to share his talents with the young ones who wanted to learn the Ojibwe ways. He was an avid basketball player and was a WWE fanatic. He collected figurines and never missed a Monday Night Raw.
One of Preston's greatest accomplishments and proud moments was when he and the Northland Drum Group sang honor songs to President Obama and at the 2018 Super Bowl in Minneapolis.
Preston was a great listener, always taking time to listen to his family and friends as his love and respect for them was enormous. He will be missed by all including his powwow family.
