Paul Michael Godfrey of Remer, MN, age 70, passed away on Wednesday August 23, 2017 at his home. Paul was born to Maurice and Edna Godfrey in 1947 in Grand Rapids, MN.

Paul called Remer his home his entire life. He graduated from Remer High School and then attended Itasca Community College for 2 years. Paul then attended Bemidji State University and continued his studies for his Master's Degree.

Paul worked for Goldfines, Warner-Lambert, Pfizer, Crossmark, and various other companies until his retirement.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Maurice (James) and Edna Godfrey; sisters, Elsie Cook and Marion Swankier; nephew, Patrick Cook.

He is survived by his nephews, James Swankier, and John (Shirley) Cook; niece, Carol (George) Chalich; cousin, Sally Norwood; many great nieces, and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, family and friends.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 1 until 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Rowe Funeral Home in Grand Rapids, MN.
