One stroke separates top teams in Sr. Men's Golf League
First place net team, went by a stroke at 186 to: Jerry Varner, 66; Mike Newton, 66; Steve Heine, 67 and Bob Kohanek, 74.
A stroke back, in second place, at 187, was the team of Chuck Bowman, 66; Bruce Black, 69; Paul Olsen, 69; and Buzz Francen, 70.
Third place at 193 was won by Gary Scherer, 67; Kenny Schleif, 70; arlowe Kottke, 71; and Chuck Tralle, 75.
The fourth place team at 195 went to Mark Eidenschink, 68; Danny Divot, 68; Dave Owen, 71; and Wally Wallman, 73.
Fifth place was offered a three-way tie at 199: Dale Hillstrom, 71; John Verly, 71; Geoff Harrison, 74; and Connor Galvin, 78 - 199, tied with the team of Mark Houghton, 69; Bob Berg, 72; Bill Murray, 73; and Harold Cook, 73 - 199, and the team of Harland Johnson, 65; Terry Paul, 72; Ed Conway, 78; and Bill Herrick, 81 - 199.
