Nancy Marie (Bullock) Lott Mustonen
b. July 29, 1937 - d. Aug. 3, 2011
Nancy's dad made arrangements to have the family belongings moved to their Ten Mile Lake home with a truck driver named Bob Lott. Bob would drive up each Friday evening; spend the weekend with his family in the Longville area, then return to the Twin Cities Sunday evening. It didn't take long for Nancy to start riding up with Bob, to see her family and back to the cities again.
On February 14, 1959 Nancy and Bob were married. Together they drove truck over the road. Soon Bob bought a dump truck and started Lott Construction in the Woman Lake area. Nancy opened a beauty shop in Longville, but had her eye on the Woman Lake Tavern, which they purchased in 1960. Nancy cooked and Bob bartended. As their business grew, they renamed it the Woman Lake Inn. Nancy later added the infamous stainless steel dance floor, large stage and lounge area, becoming the Woman Lake Supper Club. Bob lost his fight with cancer in July 1976. In the early 1980's Nancy had a large building constructed adjoining the Supper Club creating the Woman Lake Inn Club. The Inn Club included a swimming pool, hot tub, exercise equipment, lockers, showers and lounging area.
In 1980 Nancy met a land surveyor, Roger Mustonen, and they were soon married at the island on Woman Lake. After 25 years in the Supper Club business, Nancy attained a Realtor license, and then a Certified Residential Appraiser license. Roger and Nancy continued living near the Supper Club, semi-retired.
Throughout her life, Nancy enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, fishing, flower and vegetable gardens. She created many stained glass windows, lamps, hanging ornaments, framed pictures and other glass projects. Nancy regularly used her hot tub, entertained guests and continued to be creative in the kitchen. Tony was Nancy's favorite cat and she even asked for him to visit her during her stay at St. Otto's Care Center.
Nancy lost her courageous 4 year battle with multiple issues on August 3, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. August 13, 2011 at the Community Church, Longville MN. Arrangements made by the Craig Dennis Funeral Home.
