Muriel M. Reid, age 94, passed away in Remer, MN on October 10, 2020. She was born in Chicago, IL on April 30, 1926 to Bernard and Marie Matson. As a young girl, Muriel attended numerous Chicago Cub baseball games with her father and became a life-long avid Cubs fan. After graduating from Morton High School with high honors, she attended Northwestern University.

Muriel was married to Donald E. Reid on March 13, 1948. She is survived by her three sons, Kenneth, Gary and Steven; and preceded in death by her parents, brother and husband.

Muriel was active in both the National Rabbit Breeders and Cavy Breeders Associations, local snowmobile clubs and the local library. She also served as the Rogers Township secretary. With her outgoing and friendly personality, it can be said that Muriel never met a stranger. Her hobbies included knitting, sewing, cooking, gardening and reading. It was not unusual for her to read an entire book in one day.
