Muriel Gardner Sheets, 85, passed away on June 12, 2018 in Mesquite, NV. She was born on September 30, 1932 in St. Paul, MN to Henry Gardner and Louise Zentic and grew up in Lauderdale, MN. She married Devan Kenneth Sheets in St. Paul, MN on August 2, 1952.

Muriel was a beautiful person. She was known for her compassion and her strong will. She was self-taught in nearly everything she did and was very successful running the Arrowhead Builder's Supply in Longville, MN with her husband, Devan. She loved the outdoors of Minnesota, spending her time with her family. She was a talented musician, teaching herself how to play the organ and piano, and how to sing and dance.

Muriel is survived by her husband; Devan K. Sheets, her daughter; Susan (Steven) Carlson, her grandchilren; Ty (Lori) Schommer, Rachel Schommer, and Toby (Jennifer) Schommer, her nine great-grandchildren, her four great-great-grandchildren, and her sister; Elaine Miller. She is preceded in death by her parents; Henry and Louise Gardner, and her sister; Betty Lou Wood.
