Passed away in Minnetonka, MN, on June 21, 2018, at the age of 97 years. Milt was born on January 22, 1921 to Fred and Esther (Monhardt) Greupner in Elk River, MN. He was one of the "Greatest Generation" who proudly served in the Naval VB10 Bombing Squadron stationed in Dunkeswell, England, during WW2. He flew PB4Y-1 Liberators over the English Channel, receiving several medals for outstanding service in the European Theatre from 1943-44.

Milt and Janiece Cooper married in 1945, and enjoyed 58 wonderful years together until her passing in 2003. They raised their family of four "boys" in Northfield, MN, where Milt owned Greupner's Clothing Store for many years. He then became a sales rep of men's clothing until he retired to his cabin on Thunder Lake in Remer, MN, and his golf course in Mesa, AZ.

He was predeceased by his parents, wife Janiece, grandson Jeffrey, and sister Carol Miller. He is survived by sons Jim (Janeth), John (Karol), Joe and Jared (Susie); grandchildren Jen, Erik, Jessica, Kristina, Allison and Kelly; great grandchildren Joseph, Julia, Thomas. Ella, Kate, Lu, Cash, Chris, Carly, and baby due in September.

A private internment service will be held at Orono Cemetery in Elk River, MN.[[In-content Ad]]
