Mary E. (Gothmann) Olson, age 75, of Remer, MN, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 at Grand Itasca Hospital, Grand Rapids, MN.

Mary was born in 1940 to Gerome and Viola Gothmann in Slater Township, MN. She graduated from Northland High School in Remer, MN in 1958. Mary was united in marriage to Eugene Olson on November 1, 1969 in St. Paul, MN. They lived in Stacy, MN for 30 years and she was employed with Harmon Contracting. Upon retirement, they moved to Remer, MN.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Mary is survived by her husband of 46 years, Gene; and one son, Curtis (Christine) Olson of Eden Prairie, MN; three sisters, Donna Gustafson of Roseville, MN, Gail (Ted) Carpenter of Longville, MN, Diana (Ben) Slagle of Longville, MN; three brothers, Bob Gothmann of North Branch, MN, Steve Gothmann of Longville, MN, Dennis Gothmann of Cohasset, MN.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 23rd from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Longville, MN.

Fr. Keith Bertram will officiate.

Arrangements are with Rowe Funeral Home and Crematory, Grand Rapids, MN.
