Marvin Ervin "Merv" Spaeth, 76, died January 6, 2016, in Mesa, AZ. Born May 6, 1939 in Stratford, WI. Resided in Backus, MN with his wife of 53 years, Wallis Kay "Buhler" Spaeth. Lived in Apple Valley, MN where they raised their family and loved and admired by a bevy of friends.

After retirement they moved to Backus where they enjoyed their lake property and time with good friends and family. Merv was well-known member of American Legion and the Moose.

Merv is survived by his wife; son Scott (Alicia); daughter Vicki; sister Doris (Dean) Heiman, Carol Gullo, Peggy (Jack) Bauer; brother John (Marilyn) Spaeth; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Roman Spaeth; mother Eilnor Elenbecker Spaeth; sister Arla; brothers, Bernard, Roger and Norbert.[[In-content Ad]]
