Marge is survived by her husband of 52 years, Duane "Dewey"; sons, Nicholas (Vicky) of Highland, Ind., Michael (Marilyn) of Bloomington, Minn., Otto (Debra) of Munster, Ind., and Matthew of Munster, Ind.; daughter, Traci (Jim) Ciarelli of Dearborn, Mich.; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Mary Lou (Mac) MacConnell of Dyer, Ind., and Patricia (Ignacious) Ayala of Chesterton, Ind.; brother, John Davis of South Holland, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by one brother.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, Oct. 28, at 11 a.m., at St. Edwards Catholic Church, in Longville, with Fr. Joseph Sirba officiating. A memorial mass was held on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011 at Pax Christi Catholic Church, in Eden Prairie with Fr. Patrick Kennedy officiating.
Marge was born in Johnston City, Ill. She was a 1958 graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing in Evanston, Ill., and a 1977 graduate of Purdue University where she received a BS as a nurse practitioner. Shortly thereafter she was hired by St. Margaret's Hospital, in Hammond, as a Community Health Coordinator, retiring in 1993.
