Marjorie was born in 1919 in Inguadona Township., Minn., to Jesse and Grace Mix. She attended school in rural Longville and was united in marriage to Walter Frank on April 14, 1938. They made their home in the Remer area. Marjorie worked as a waitress and cook at Smokey's Café in Remer and managed the Country Co-op in Remer. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, puzzles, and was an avid cribbage player.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter; son, Marvin Frank; two daughters, Frances Hawk and Barbara Klitzke; and her sisters and brothers.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan Weyer of Walker, Minn., and son, Alfred Frank of Remer; 22 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 17, at Rowe Funeral Home in Grand Rapids. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery, Remer.
