Marion Carol Goette, 78, of Hill City passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016 in Duluth, MN. She was born in Milan, MN on July 12, 1937.

Marion is survived by three daughters: Luana (Tom) Fanth of Hill City, MN; Gayle Winters of Mound, MN; Carol (Richie) Stangel of Cass Lake, MN; two sisters, Evelyn (Earl) Krenz of Becker, MN; Dawn Larson of Shoreview, MN; a son James (Cathi) Goette Jr. of Minneapolis, MN. eight grandsons, seven granddaughters, 14 great-grandsons, 14 great-granddaughters. Many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, two expecting great-grandchildren.

Marion was preceeded in death by husband, James Goette Sr. Parents Sibert and Harriet Peterson; brother, Robert Peterson Sr.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

A service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Carroll Funeral Home Deer River, MN. Burial will be in Emily, MN.
