Marian Mae Molash "Bakwezhigan Ikwe"
b. June 11, 1954 d. July 30, 2020
Marian loved art and studied it in college. She also loved to craft and had many hobbies including painting, sewing, crocheting, beading, doll making, doing puzzles and Sudoku. Everyone remembers her being artsy and crafty including her love of hats! Marian loved gardening and had a green thumb. She loved watching things grow, such as her daughters and grandchildren. She loved being a grandmother. She was an avid gambler and loved the Northern Lights Casino. She also enjoyed thrift shopping with her long-time friend, Barb Shipley. Marian was known for being very strong-willed and determined. She was a 3-time cancer survivor and Ogitchidaakwe (warrior). Before she was a homemaker, she worked for the Federal Reserve Bank and the Old Dutch Potato Chip Factory, her favorite place of employment. She will be missed by many.
Marian is survived by her brothers; Larry Hardy, Julian Molash, sisters; June Mykkanen, Colleen Mitchell, Lorene Bojanczyk, son; Ryan Lewis, daughters; Senoah Molash, Shanna Negrette, Stephanie Molash; and 12 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Genevieve Pablano, Lida Bunge, Marilyn Hardy Allen, Harriette Mykkanen, brother; Delbert Molash, grandson; Hunter Wind and nephew; Alex Tinsley.
