Lynn Marion passed away due to a sudden illness on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the Fargo Sanford Hospital surrounded by loved ones. She was air-lifted to Fargo when it came apparent she needed more specialized care.

Lynn Grew up on the family resort Cedar Springs Lodge, worked at various other resorts and then met Mike Plakke. They were partners for over twenty years. Lynn became a CNA, trained in Park Rapids nursing home, and then worked locally at Ah-Gwah-Ching.

Lynn loved the outdoors, swimming, fishing, boating, birdwatching, her dogs Louie and Peanut and reading a good book. She rescued many other dogs over the years and was a friend to the birds around her home.

She is survived by her partner Mike; her brothers and sisters, Mathew Marion, Wendy (John) Johnson, Mark (Mari) Marion, Julie (Keith) Hennes, Luke (Michele) Marion and John (Corrie) Marion; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Elwood and Theressa Marion and her nephew Scott Johnson.

A memorial service for Lynn will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2015, 3 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, Walker, MN. A private inurnment will be held. Arrangements are by Midwest Cremation Association/Dennis Funeral Home, Walker, Minnesota.[[In-content Ad]]
