The Longville Park Board and the City of Longville are very concerned about increased vandalism that is occurring at the Scott and Jane Stuart Community Park located south of downtown Longville. The cost to repair the damage siphons needed money to pay for the maintenance, utilities, and new projects at the Park. We applaud the interest community residents, cabin owners, and tourists have in using the facilities at the Park. However, there is a small number of people that feel the need to damage those wonderful facilities. Surveillance has increased by the Cass County Sheriff's Department and the City of Longville but they can not be in the area all of the time. If anyone sees any suspicious activity, please call the Sheriff's office at 547-1424.
