Longville area businesses to be surveyed by local task force
To the Editor,
The Longville Economic Growth Task Force is a joint effort by citizens living in the Longville area. A number of local organizations and businesses have already joined in supporting the effort. To start things out, the program involves local residents visiting businesses to identify their business concerns and needs. The visit will involve a survey to gather information to give the Task Force direction on what business owners view as obstacles in the growth of their businesses or the community at large.
Specifically, the objectives of the survey are to:
1. Understand local business viewpoints on the economy.
2. Understand the relationship between the businesses and local economy.
3. Identify business concerns related to growth and economic development.
4. Establish or maintain a channel of communications between your business and local leaders.
After the survey results are in and the data compiled, the survey will tell us which projects to start working on first. We are seeking grant money from the Initiative Foundation and plan to use those funds wisely to get as much done as we can with the amount we are given.
Business owners will receive their surveys either by mail or delivered in person by a Task Force member. The surveys can be completed in as little as five minutes. Let us emphasize that all the information shared during the survey is strictly confidential, so please share as much information as you think would be helpful.
We would greatly appreciate your cooperation with this community effort.[[In-content Ad]]
