Linda Louise Langenbacher, age 72, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away Tuesday July 17, 2018 at her home.

Linda was born in 1946 to William and Beatrice Mahoney in Milford Township, MA and grew up in New England. After high school, she joined the U.S. Army where she met Clayton Langenbacher. They were united in marriage on January 5, 1967 and moved to Remer, MN where they settled and raised their family.

Linda was a very social person who loved to read and enjoyed being the "school mom". She was a member of the Fire Department Auxiliary and the Lion's Club Auxiliary of Remer. One of Linda's most memorable moments was hiking from the South Rim to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sister, Jane Poole; and step-father, George Schultz.

Linda is survived by her two daughters, Heidi (Stephen) Schultz and Megan (B.J.) Scott; son, Erik (Kristi) Langenbacher; sister, Nancy (Paul) Brodeur; brother, Jerry (Elaine) Mahoney; and grandchildren, Emma, Carson, Keagen, Ryah, Andrew, Nathan, Abigail, and Saul.

Per Linda's wishes, no services will be held.
