The current economy has brought about very challenging circumstances for today's non-profits. Organizations that are in place to serve those in need find that they, themselves, are in need. A dramatic drop in donations is further complicated by a greater number of people needing service. As a result, weathering the current economic conditions has required the Northland Family Center to implement more innovative ways to raise funds. The Family Center has come up with some fun, new ideas to encourage continued community support at a grass roots level. We have introduced "Share from Your Chair", an Amazon.com give-back program.

"Share from Your Chair" is a way for community members to support the Family Center by doing nothing but shopping!
