Larry W. Lindemoen, 80, of Backus, passed away Sept. 28, 2017, in Cottonwood, AZ. Larry was born Feb. 8,1937, in Stephen, MN, the son of Oscar and Pearl (Frederick) Lindemoen. He grew up in Stephen, MN, and East Grand Forks, MN, graduating from EGF Senior High. Larry owned and operated Lindemoen Heating and Sheet Metal for many years until his retirement. He built houses, was quite an outdoorsman and loved his MN home in the woods. Larry also enjoyed his AZ home in the winter.

Larry is survived by son, Larry Jr. of Grand Forks, ND; daughter, Cheryl (Rich) Swangler of Grand Forks; brothers: Bob of Grand Forks, Curtis of Nevis, MN, Dale of Ontario, CA, Jim of Napa, CA; sisters: Carol Mclaughlin of Walker, MN, Peggy Bailey of Saraland, AL; granddaughter, Tara Skari of West Fargo, ND; great grandson, Kaden; and special friend, Pat Ellenson. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Lauren, Jerry, Joyce; and infant son, Randy.

Services will be 11 AM on Monday, Oct. 16, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A gathering will follow at the American Legion in Backus.[[In-content Ad]]
