On Monday, March 15, 2021, Kay Frances Putnam-Hall (Anderson) was taken home to be with Jesus at the age of 80 after suffering for 2-3 years with lung disease.

She was born on February 22, 1941 in Deadwood, SD, to Arthur McKinley Anderson and Margaret Frances (Manders) Anderson. Kay grew up in railroad depots; her dad was the agent. After graduating from Sturgis, SD high school and Huron College, she taught elementary school in Estelline, SD. She later graduated from Bemidji State College and taught special education in Long Prairie, MN. Kay married Walter Putnam and had two children, Todd Walter Putnam and Nicole Lynnette Putnam-Frenchik.

She married Neil Hall on November 25, 1995, and they spent most of their married life doing volunteer Christian work. She was an active member of Longville Bible Chapel in Longville, MN and Pleasant Hill Baptist in Bushnell, FL.

Kay loved to embroider dish towels and give them away. Her laugh was infectious and made people smile!

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Todd and survived by her husband Neil, her daughter Nicole (Michael), grandson Nicholas Putnam, step daughters Aimee (Hall) Anderson (Matthew,) Annie (Hall) Hutchens (Devan,) stepson Todd Hall, step grandchildren Shiree Colin, Cody Hall, Neil Hall, and Enoch Anderson and four step great grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Kay's life will be celebrated at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Bushnell, FL, on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 10:30 am. There will be another service in Minnesota later.
