Kathleen (Swing) Winger, age 75, of Remer, MN passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Americare Lodge, Remer, MN after a courageous battle with cancer.

Kathleen was born on May 13, 1945 in Crosby, MN to John and Delila Swing. She lived in Outing, MN until moving to Remer when she was three years old. Kathy loved animals, especially riding horses and their care. Most of all, she loved her family, gatherings of family and friends, campfires, and picnics. She enjoyed making Christmas wreaths, which were enjoyed by many in the Remer area. Kathy worked at Hi-Tech Milling in Remer for 11 years, planted trees, and did housecleaning. Kathy was a true and honest friend to many and will be deeply missed.

Preceded in death by her parents; son, Bradley; brothers, Dick and Bob; and sister, Judy.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Nick; sister, Peggy Stratmann of Cohasset, MN; grandchildren, Jacob, Amber, and RaeAnn.

A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Remer, MN on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Dee Hillstrom will officiate.
