Kathleen G. "Kathi" Kohn 70, of Estero, FL passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 8, 2019 at her residence. She was born July 25, 1948 in Northfield, MN; a daughter of the late Russell and Irene (née Palmer) Ferlen. Kathi had been a resident of Estero since 2017 coming from Baxter, MN.

She was a former co-owner of Battle Point Lodge on Leech Lake. In 1988, she married Perry I. Kohn in Ft. Myers, FL. They resided in Champaign, IL where Perry co-owned Ace Hardware. She became the office manager until they sold the business in 1996.

She loved to travel and was an avid crafter. She especially enjoyed making jewelry and paper flowers. She had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh, read and above all, she was the kindest person you could ever know.

She is survived by her loving husband, Perry I. Kohn of Estero, FL; her son, Mark Spitzack of Walker, MN; her daughter, Michelle Tostenson (Greg) of Eden Prairie, MN; 5 grandchildren, Caitlyn Spitzack, Nicholas Spitzack, and Elijah Spitzack of Walker, MN; Aaron Tostenson and Ashley Tostenson of Eden Prairie, MN. She is also survived by her brother, Claude Ferlen (Suzan McAllister) of Northfield, MN.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Huber Funeral Home 16394 Glory Lane, Eden Prairie, MN. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 12390 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie.
