Judith "Judy" Probst, age 77, of Remer, MN passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Americare Lodge in Remer, MN.

Judy was born in 1942 to John and Delilah Swing in Outing, MN. She graduated from high school in Remer, MN. Judy moved to Chicago, IL and attended school to be a stenographer. She returned to Minnesota where she married and raised a family in Cohasset. Judy had a passion for her beef cows that she personally named. In 1993, she married Larry Probst and together they owned and operated a sawmill in Marcell, MN and later Remer, MN. Judy was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cohasset, MN and later of Bethany Lutheran Church in Remer, MN. Judy was very dedicated to her family and was always referred to as the "Matriarch".

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Laurence "Larry" Probst, Robert Phipps, and Biff Busching; and two brothers, Richard and Robert Swing

Judy is survived by her children, Lisa Kotula (Bill Miskovich) of Bovey, MN, Darrin (Holli) Busching of Cohasset, MN, Jason (Kristinea) Busching of Charlottesville, VA, Tyler (Susan) Busching of Grand Rapids, MN; two sisters, Peggy Stratmann of Cohasset, MN and Kathy (Nick) Winger of Remer, MN; 19 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Judy's Life will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cohasset, MN with a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM followed by a memorial service at 11:00 A.M. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in Remer, MN.
