Joyce P. (Kelner) Sta. Maria
Joyce was born in St. Paul, MN on July 14, 1941 to John and Corinne (Sattler) Kelner. She retired as a claims manager from Arizona State Worker's Compensation (State Fund). Joyce was a past president of the Elkette BPOE 2399 and enjoyed spending time traveling, boating and fishing, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an amazing woman who bravely fought breast cancer for 19 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, William, Richard and Jerome; granddaughter Carmen McCormick and great-granddaughter Ella Jean McCormick.
Joyce is survived by husband Thomas; children, Leslie Santa Maria, Andrea (Wayne) Monka, Michael Thomas St. Marie and Patricia (Mark) Herrmann; grandchildren, Patrick, Anthony, Alycia (Andrew), Austin, Jill (Brent), Jessica, Natalie, Carter, Victoria and Parker; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Malachi, Steven, Wyatt, Alexis, Isaiah, Keaton, and Liberty; brother Michael Kelner as well as many extended family members and friends. And Spike.
The family thanks the doctors and staff for the extraordinary care they provided Joyce throughout her illness.
