Jonna Darene Daugherty, 67, of Portland TN, formerly of Bethel, Alaska and Bemidji, MN, died at the Sumner Regional Medical Center emergency room, Friday, September 21, 2018.

A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, October 27, at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji.

Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Walter, James Walter Jr., Monte Hammitt, Jim "Dino" Garrigan, Rob Lill, Tim Lill, Steve Estenson.

Jonna was born August 31, 1951 to Erma Bernice (Burdick) Oling and John Sanford Oling in St Louis County, Duluth, Minnesota. She married Ronald Daugherty July 23, 1968. She and Ron moved extensively with their sons Shem & Shaun while Ron was in the Army. They lived in Fort Bliss, Texas, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, Charlottesville, Virginia and West Point, New York. The family settled in Bemidji in 1980 where Jonna worked at Control Data. After going back to school for her accounting degree, she began working at Property Professionals. In 1992 she and Ron moved to Erie, PA where she was the accountant for the Zukor Club. In 2000, they moved to Bethel, AK where she worked for the City of Bethel as the sales tax clerk. She received several awards during her time while working for the City of Bethel. In 2007, she and Ron purchased a home in Portland, TN where they planned on retiring. Sadly, Ron passed away before they could begin their next adventure. Jonna moved to Portland after retiring from her job in Bethel.

She is survived by her sons Shem (Mary) Daugherty of Remer, MN, and Shaun Daugherty of Berkeley CA; four grandchildren: Hannah & Lucas (Shem & Mary) and Rebecca & Sarah (Shaun & Charlene); many nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, mother, father, 3 brothers; Richard Pride, Robert Pride & Raymond Pride, 2 sisters; Delores Busnelli & Judith Walter, and a grandson.
