Jennie M. Mueller of Boy Lake and St. Paul and widow of Dr. Marsh Mueller died April 11. Jen was 96. She is survived by daughter Karen (John) De Haven of Plymouth and son Ken (Beana) of St. Cloud; grandchildren Bob (Nichole) and Katy De Haven and Kristen, Tony and Nick (Lisa) Mueller; great-grand children Jack and Mae De Haven.

In 1975, Jennie and her husband acquired a property on Big Boy Lake where they built a home, were summertime residents for nearly 40 years and became close friends with a number of other area couples and families. Jennie and Doc Mueller were regular, seasonal attendees at Zion Lutheran Church in Boy River.

Most will best remember Jennie's kindness and gentleness, attributes that defined her very soul. She devoted herself to her beloved Marsh over the 71 years of their life together and to their family. Her happiness didn't come along only when things were going good for her. Rather, she found her happiness whenever she could help and when things were going good for the people she cared about and loved.

Funeral services will be held May 4 at Emmaus Lutheran Church in St. Paul with burial at Ft Snelling National Cemetery.[[In-content Ad]]
