Jane Marie Jewett, age 57, passed peacefully in her home on June 3, 2020. She was surrounded by family and friends as they lifted her in prayer.

Jane was born August 4, 1962 to George and Carol Evans in Minneapolis, MN. Jane moved to Remer, MN at age seven where she later graduated from Northland High School in 1981. Following graduation, she went on to attend vocational school at Thief River Falls. Jane married Raymond (Rusty) Jewett and moved to New Hope before returning to Remer in 1984. She worked for 33 years at the Remer clinic, serving as a welcoming and calming face to the community. Jane was diagnosed with cancer in 2007. Her strength and strong faith in the Lord remained steadfast throughout. Jane was an excellent cook. She loved shopping, gardening, crafting, and spending time with her family. Her spirit and sense of humor will be missed and cherished in memory by the many who loved her. She was a loving mother, daughter, wife, sister, grandmother, and friend.

Jane is preceded in death by her father, George Evans; and her grandparents.

She is survived by her children, Shelly (Brian) Jewett of Tampa, FL; Aron (Jena) Jewett of Grand Rapids, MN; and Abby Jewett of St Paul, MN; mother, Carol Evans of Remer, MN; two brothers, Michael (Debra) Evans of Coon Rapids, MN; Timothy (Barbara) Evans of Lake Nebagamon, WI; six grandchildren, Xavier, Tahiri, Logan, Blake, Nora and soon-arriving, Zion; many nieces and nephews; and beloved cat, Kitty.

A celebration of Jane's life will be held, Monday, June 8th from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. at the family home.
