James Michael Kelly of Little Canada, MN, passed away in his home peacefully on April 27 at age 68. Jim was born at Miller Hospital Saint Paul to Vincent and Marguerite (Carson) Kelly who married Oct. 12, 1946. Jim was the second child of eleven. Jim was raised as an Irish Catholic. He grew up on Rice Street, Saint Paul and graduated from Washington High School in 1967. After graduating, he joined the US Army and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan, during Vietnam.

Jim enjoyed to fish, hunt and had a love for animals. Later in life, he enjoyed riding motorcycle until his health wouldn't allow him to. Family was very important to Jim.

Jim married his first wife Mary (McCarthy) Tiharik of Appleton, WI, in 1970 and divorced in 1974. He married his second wife Mary Ellen (Grundhauser) Pinski of Remer in 1987.

Jim is survived by his mother Marguerite (Carson) Kelly of Whitebear Lake, MN; his 9 siblings, niece and nephews Greg and Cheryl (Kelly) Kern of Chisago; John and Judy (Wild) Kelly of Saint Paul; Michael "Mickey" and Jean (Leverty) Kelly of Hugo; Greg and Colleen (Kelly) Gelbman of Lake Elmo; John and Maureen (Kelly) Fritzke of Turtle Lake, WI; Rick and Peggy (Kelly) Newell of Whitebear Lake; Kathleen Kelly and friend Vern Cluckey; Mari Kelly and friend Dave Johnson of Shoreview and Thomas Kelly of Hugo; Children and grandchildren Jason and Amy (Riffle) Pinski and Joseph and Alayna Leyton of Longville; Kevin and Nicole (Guerin) Pinski and Brynley, Liam and Everett of Chisago; Joshua and Samantha (Kelly) Swankier and James and Patrick of Little Canada; Michelle "Mikki" Kelly and Russel and Lucas Barber of Brevik; Albert and Patricia "Patty" (Kelly) Ammerman and Paige, Kenzlee, Eleanor, Madelynn, and Courtney of Remer; and two minor children Katie and Gina and their mother Theresa Hofford of Little Canada, MN.

Please join the Kelly family April 17th 2018 for the burial at Fort Snelling and the celebration of life at The Original Docs Landing in white bear lake mn,

Family and friends will meet at Bradshaw funeral home on rice street at 12:45 for the procession to fort Snelling. Service will start at 2pm and immediately following the burial will be the celebration of life at docs landing sports bar. Food and beer will be provided.[[In-content Ad]]
