HACKENSACK - James "Jim" Forbrook, age 64, of Hackensack, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011. He was born September 27, 1947, in Nicollet, MN, to Lester and Phyllis Forbrook. Jim graduated from Nicollet High School in 1967. He married Rita June Fahning in 1971. They later divorced. On March 28, 1981, he married Kathy Hanks. Jim served in the US Marines in Vietnam. He worked for Lloyd Lumber in Mankato for several years then MnDOT for 31 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his friends and his critters and being retired. He was a member of the Hackensack American Legion, Akeley VFW and Red Man Club in St. Peter.

Jim is survived by his wife, Kathy; children: Tom (Sarah), JoDee Vogel (Daryl), Tim (Amanda Martin); grandchildren: Chris, Cameron, Carlee, Cassi, Collyn, Corah, Levi, Emily; brother, Jerry (Barb); sister, Jill Stower (John); and nephew, Zach Stower.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be 1:30 PM on Saturday, December 3, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hackensack, with Pastor Bob Alley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.[[In-content Ad]]
