Jacob M. Halverson, 78, of Remer passed away on November 13, 2017 at his home. Jacob was born in Minneapolis, MN on December 16, 1938.

Jake lived a simple life working the farm for 75 years, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, berry picking and in his youth trapping. He will be missed by family and friends.

Jake is survived by sisters Ruth Halverson and Naomi Pollman, Brothers Paul & Phillip.

He was preceeded in death by his parents Harry & Selma, brothers Joel & James.

Services will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 2:00 p.m. at Carroll Funeral Home Deer River, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
