Helen Barton, age 94 of Remer, Minnesota, passed away on April 27th, 2013 in Grand Rapids Minnesota. Helen was born in 1919 to Ole and Cora Romness in White Bear Lake, MN. She lived and worked in Remer for many years. Helen was united in marriage to Alex Barton on April 2, 1942 in Minneapolis, MN. She retired from Crawl's Drug and was a long standing member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.

Helen was preceded in Death by her parents Ole and Cora; Husband Alex; and her brother Robert.

Helen was survived by her sister Dorothy Egert of Fridley, MN; her children, Mary (Tom) Breitkreutz of Remer, MN and Roger (Carol) Barton of Remer, MN; and many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, and Great-Great-Grandchildren. All loved Helen dearly and will miss her greatly.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 2nd from 10 am until the 11 am Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Paul's Catholic Church in Remer, MN. Rev. Fr. Mike Patullo will officiate. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Remer, MN.
