Gladys V. Berg, age 106, of Crosby, MN, formerly of Remer, MN, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. Gladys was born in 1908 to Charlie and Anna Olson in Dassel, MN, where she also grew up and attended school. She was united in marriage to Sylvester M. Berg on January 22, 1938 in Litchfield, MN and they made their home in Wayzata, MN. They stayed in Wayzata for 5 years and then moved to North Minneapolis until Sylvester's death in 1990. Gladys then made her home in the Remer area for many years. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Sylvester; one sister; and three brothers.

Gladys is survived by her son, Dale (Mary) Berg of Remer, MN; two granddaughters, Victoria Sykora and Cynthia (Steven) Troyna; four great-grandchildren, Jordon and Logan Sykora, and Alex and Annalise Troyna.

Visitation will be Monday, May 4 from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Funeral Service at the chapel at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Crystal, MN. Deacon Everett Doxtator will officiate.
