Geraldine V. Hendershott, 68, of Remer, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 18, 2011 at her home.

Geri was born January 25, 1943 in McIntire, Iowa to Albert and Katherine (Schneider) Wolf. She grew up in Austin, Minnesota, graduating from Austin High School. Following high school she worked for two years prior to her marriage to Larry Hendershott whom she met through mutual friends. They were married on February 25, 1963 in Owatonna, Minnesota. Larry's work took them from Austin, Minnesota to Wisconsin, then to Leroy, Minnesota for 13 years. In 1977 they moved from Brainerd to Remer where they have lived until the present. Geri invested her life in caring for her family, and was a fantastic cook and baker. She enjoyed reading, eating out, shopping and garage selling. After moving north she grew to appreciate the solitude of her home, and spent many hours tending to her beautiful flower gardens. Above all she loved time spent with her family. Her presence will be missed.

Geri is survived by her husband of 48 years, Larry, children; Michelle Thompson, Todd (Angie) Hendershott, Lisa (Cliff) Porterfield, Corey Hendershott, and Kathy (Dan) Rorvig, four grandsons Jacob and John Porterfield, Monte and Cole Hendershott, three brothers; Albert, Robert, James; four sisters; Marion, Veronica, Jeanette and Joann, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Dorothy.
