Longville! Many of us call it home for a good part of the year. It is a big part of our lives, has been, and proves to be a wonderful family retreat and bonding locale. A second home, away from home. At home, we likely are most generous with our charitable dollars, after all, it is home. But wait....Longville is also home, is it not? So, I am asking you, too, to be generous to our second home by considering today, right now, a large gift to the Longville Community Foundation in the form of an endowment for the city park. It is simple: call your lawyer right now, have them set up a large gift to the foundation upon your death. In endowment form, the foundation can only use the income from your gift for the park maintenance, thus insuring the monies will be there in perpetuity for generations to come. We owe it to our second city, and those who will come after. Please, please, consider sharing your generosity with Longville. There is joy in giving to others, sharing our good fortune with others, and leaving a legacy for our children and grandchildren!
