Forward to the Extreme as in Parabolic National Debt
To the editor,
"Few men have virtue to withstand the highest bidder." (George Washington)
Funny thing about progressives they don't like dealing with reality because it requires too much humility and self-control to deal with it. It is a fact that every individual is capable of dealing with their own casting in life when given a proper education in principled virtues.
Learning virtues is difficult at times but with practice it can become habitual. (Aristotle) Virtuous is all anyone can be to deal with moral obligations leaving democracy begging the question... where is the virtue in a vote?
Prudence is what every individual is capable of performing which is far more precise and less taxing than group-think and mob rule.
To understand the extreme political stance of the progressive you need to understand progressivism. Progressivism is to run with the herd, even to the extreme and obvious hypocrisy.
"America is not anything if it consists of each of us. It is something only if it consists of all of us."
(Woodrow Wilson)
What lies forward for the progressive and his democracy is the century old belief in social evolution.
"All that progressives ask or desire," wrote Woodrow Wilson, "is permission -- in an era when development, evolution, is a scientific word -- to interpret the Constitution according to the Darwinian principle; all they ask is recognition of the fact that a nation is a living thing and not a machine."
It is through outcome based education and government intervention rests the progressives' hopes of achieving utopian society.
"I believe, finally, that the teacher is engaged, not simply in the training of individuals, but in the formation of the proper social life.
I believe that every teacher should realize the dignity of his calling; that he is a social servant set apart for the maintenance of proper social order and the securing of the right social growth.
I believe that in this way the teacher always is the prophet of the true God and the usherer in of the true kingdom of God." (John Dewey)
Since the progressives took charge of our education, our form of government and our economics, the tower of Babel is being attempted once more. Our national debt will reach the heavens soon.
Genesis 11:6 "And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do."
Progressivism is the oldest repetition of history known to man. How is it that those who are deemed so intelligent can act so stupidly?
He also told them this parable: "Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit? A student is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher."
- Luke 6:39-40,
Take note that Woodrow Wilson and John Dewey were two of the biggest progressive educational gurus known and our young people today care 1 trillion dollars in student loan debt. And the conservative Tea Party is considered the extremists.
