Fact vs. Fiction
To the Editor,
I am also an active volunteer at school, as well as a School Board member. I have the good fortune to witness the hard work and dedication of many who put our kids first and sacrifice so much to see to it that individual and collective educational needs are met.
I encourage you to come for a visit, and see these beautiful faces hard at work. They are the reason we do what we do here at Northland Community School, and they are worth your support on Nov. 9th.
When making your decision on how you will vote Nov. 9th, insist that you have the facts. Those facts are readily available to you through numerous vehicles: the school's website www.isd118.k12.mn.us, Superintendent Mayclin 218-566-2352 extension 2011, School Board Members (phone numbers are on the school website), and through the Vote Yes Committee (co-chair Stacey Wake 218-566-4709). Reach out, inform yourself. Don't be duped by the misleading, angry message being widely distributed with the intent to break our communities down. This conversation regarding maintenance of our school has been a long and painful one. Now is the time. Stand together. Stand strong. Say YES.[[In-content Ad]]
