Ellen F. Mieseler, age 64, of Remer, MN passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 7, 2019 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Ellen was born in 1954 to Lionel and Ann Wheeler in Grand Rapids, MN. Ellen grew up in Remer, MN and attended Northland High School. Ellen married her grade school sweetheart, Robert Mieseler, on March 24, 1973 in Longville, MN. The couple was blessed with two children, Shawn and Michelle. In her younger years, Ellen worked at Ball Corp for many years before becoming a fulltime homemaker.

Ellen enjoyed singing and dancing, yard work, tending to her flowers, walks in the woods, three-wheeling, and fishing. More than anything else, Ellen loved spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Sharon Olson, Lionel Michael "Mickey" Wheeler, Kathy Opatrny, Leonard Wheeler, Tim Wheeler; niece, Darcie Wheeler; and nephew, James Mesich.

Ellen is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Bob; son, Shawn of Remer, MN; daughter, Michelle (Mitch) Mehrer of Detroit Lakes, MN; siblings, Gary Wheeler of Remer, Patty (Tom) Anderson of Bellevue, ID, Randy (Liz) Wheeler of Remer, Eileen Wheeler of Remer, Lori (Randy) Benson of Nowthen, MN; 11 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
