Ella Mae (Lowe) Hausken, age 78 from Thief River Falls, MN, originally from Longville, passed away July 3, 2018 at Sanford Hospital in Thief River Falls due to complications from leukemia.

Ella was born in Highlands, NC in 1940. She spent her summers in Norfolk, VA where she met and married David Hausken.

Ella enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and bird watching. She loved to travel and had many adventures all over the world. Mostly, she loved her family.

While Ella's main job was being a mom to "everyone" she also enjoyed volunteering as an EMT working as a CNA and in the activities department at Hillrest nursing home, Red Lake Falls, MN, as well as many volunteer activities.

Ella will be lovingly missed by her children Robert Linwood Gaskins (Morissa) of Pine River, MN, James Allen Hausken (Jamie) of Anamoose, ND, Tracey (Jack) Carter of Milan, MN and Melinda (Ron) Kjelland of Salol, MN. Also, her grandchildren Lyndsay and Tianna Hausken, Nathan and Eric Carter, Kayleen, Alissa, Fedeline, Dorothy and Timothy Kjelland. Great-Grandchildren Eathan and Hunter.

Ella was preceeded in death by her mother Nell Pratt, two brothers, Tom Waller and Robert Lowe and husband David Hausken.

A memorial service was held Sat., July 7 at her Longville home. Any additional memorial donations can be given to the Longville Food Shelf in Ella's name. Ella will be deeply missed.[[In-content Ad]]
