Ella Mae Campbell, age 90, of Cohasset, MN passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at her home.

Ella was born in 1929 to Charles and Margaret Campbell in Onigum, MN. She grew up in Sugar Point on the Leech Lake Reservation. After graduating from Boy River High School, she moved to Minneapolis and attended business school. Ella returned to Cass Lake, MN and worked for many years for data control and accounting for Minnesota Chippewa Tribe and Leech Lake Reservation. Ella was the long-time treasurer for St. Peters Episcopal Church in Cass Lake, MN. Ella was an excellent seamstress and made many clothes for her family. She also loved gardening, flowers, and fishing. Ella resided at Autumn Lane Assisted Living for her final years where she was loved and so well cared for.

Preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Vernon and Glen Campbell; and one sister, Bernadine. Ella is survived by her sister, Roberta (Kenneth) Smith of Federal Dam, MN; brothers, LeRoy Campbell of LaPorte, MN and Milton Campbell of Deer River, MN; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
