Edward J. Conway, age 85, St. Cloud, MN, former resident of Dougherty, Iowa, died June 3, 2016 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House, St. Cloud, MN.

Survivors include wife, Millie, St. Cloud, MN; daughter, Colette (Nelson), Omaha, NE; son, Jim Conway (Linda), Sauk Rapids, MN; son, Tom, New Prague, MN; sister, Margaret Marzen (Bernard), Mason City, IA; sister-in-law, Jean Kemna, Mason City, IA; grandchildren, Megan, Courtney, Melissa, Allyssa, Kyle, and Brooke.

Served in U. S. Army from 1951 - 1953. Rural mail carrier for 34 years, serving Dougherty and Aredale, IA. Mayor of Dougherty, IA, for 10 years. Member of American Legion for 60 years. Secretary/Treasurer of Ridgewood Senior Men's Golf League, Longville, MN for 17 years.

Services were held on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, St. Cloud, MN. Burial to be held at Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery, Little Falls, MN, at a later date.
