The Northland Eagles boys baseball team entered the 2010 Section 7A Tournament with a #3 seed and took on Nashwauk-Keewatin in the first round of eliminations.

The boys dispatched NK with a final score of 3-2. Deer River would prove to be a more formidable opponent as the boys went down 11-0 in 5 innings.

This does not mean the boys are out, they still have a chance to move on through the losers bracket of double elimination.

The Eagles will be back on the diamond this afternoon (Tuesday) in Hibbing at 4:30.[[In-content Ad]]
