Donnabelle Marie Johnson, 86, a longtime resident of Longville, MN, died peacefully July 30, 2015 at her son's home in Charlottesville, Virginia surrounded by family. She was born on November 30, 1928 in Minneapolis, MN and later moved to Longville, which she called "God's Country".

Donnabelle enjoyed singing and was an active member of the Salem Lutheran Church choir and the Longville Area Community Choir. She loved living in Northern Minnesota, socializing with friends and being active in the woman's group called Birthday Babes.

She is survived by her sister, Joyce Pogue, 2 daughters (Britta Anderson and Sharon McKendry), 2 sons (Sheldon and Howard Anderson), 5 grand children and 1 great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Donnabelle was a positive, fun loving person and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial to celebrate Donnabelle will be held on Saturday, October 17 at 11:30 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Longville.[[In-content Ad]]
