Donald Rice, age 71, of Remer, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis. He was born May 10, 1939, in Walden Township to Sidney and Tillie Rice.



Donald is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Louise; mother, Tillie Rice of Remer; children: Donald Rice, Jr. (Lou Ann), Diane Ammerman (Robert), Sidney Rice, all of Remer; brothers: Jim Rice (Charlene) of Pequot Lakes, Leo Rice (Karen) of Arizona, Robert Rice of Pine River; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.



He was preceded in death by his father, Sidney, and brother, Lee.



Services will be 11 AM on Monday, April 11, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Pequot Lakes, with Pastor Donna Olsen officiating. Burial will be in Moose Lake Cemetery, rural Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes.[[In-content Ad]]
