BOY RIVER - Donald Gene Jensen, 78, of Boy River, Minn., died Sunday, July 10, 2011, in Duluth, Minn. He was born July 31, 1932, in Brainerd, Minn.

Don was raised on the family farm on County road 4 in Boy River, he attended school in Boy River. Don was married to Darlene for 50 years. He enjoyed gardening, Being in the woods, building trailers, buying and selling vehicles, deer hunting, auction sales, working at Ogele's and visiting with everyone.

He is survived by: wife Darlene, daughter Patty (Don) Daniels, son Kevin (Anita) Seamans, daughter Barb Jensen, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his mother Clara Slater, father Harry Slater, brothers McLloyd Slater, Art Jensen, and sister Fern Pohl.

Services were Saturday July 16, 2011, at the Log Chapel, in Boy River.

Carroll Funeral Home, of Deer River, Minn., was in charge of arrangements.[[In-content Ad]]
