Don graduated in 1954 from Wilson High School in St. Paul where he excelled in sports, lettering in hockey, baseball and football. Following in his father's footsteps, Don became an electrician and was a member of IBEW Local 110 for 60 years. He worked for numerous contractors in the Twin Cities and eventually started his own business, Town and Shores Electric Co. which was based out of Outing. Don's favorite place was their cabin on Washburn Lake in Outing where he and Mary loved spending time with family and friends for nearly 50 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, golf and travel, and was a great fan of all Minnesota sports teams, especially the Twins and Vikings. He will be missed but never forgotten.
A Memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 29th at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi, MN.[[In-content Ad]]
