As many of you know, the Longville Area Community Foundation (LACF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to enriching our community through grants to charitable institutions and individuals in need. During 2014, we were able to help 19 worthy causes in the Longville area because of the generous donations we received from people and organizations.

Our membership year runs from July 1 - June 30. We sponsor a membership drive every July, but interested persons can become a member at any time. How do you become a member? By making a single donation of $50 or more. What does membership involve? There are no official obligations, but you're entitled to vote in our annual election for persons to serve on our Board of Directors. You're also eligible to run for a seat on the Board if you'd like to get more involved. How long does a membership last? Until the next July 1.

There are other ways to support the LACF, such as attending our annual picnic, our annual gala, and donating or bidding on silent auction items. These contributions don't count towards membership but they do raise funds for the Foundation and are greatly appreciated!
