Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2020 at St. Philip's Catholic Church in Bemidji with Msgr. Michael Patnode officiating. The Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji assisted the family.
Danny was born April 27, 1963 in Worthington, MN the son of George and Joyce (Reecy) Nelson.
He grew up and attended school at Medford, MN, where he graduated in 1981. He was a woodworker until 1983, when he moved to Remer, MN to work on the family resort. He was a carpenter until 1992. He then moved to Pennington to work as a well driller until relocating to Shevlin in 2018.
He is survived by his Father, George Nelson;
children, Dylan (Ashley) Nelson, Adam Wange, Hannah (Paul) Irwin. Siblings, Margie (Duane) Baker, Diana Voss. Six grandchildren, 1 niece, three nephews and one great nephew.
He was preceded in death by: Mother, Joyce Nelson; siblings, Lori Nelson, George Nelson, Jr and Mike Nelson.
