REMER - Swenson, Clifton "Kip" John, age 76 of Remer formerly of Bloomington died March 8, 2011. Kip and his wife, Ruth wrote the 'Senior Spotlight' for this paper, and enjoyed getting to know many senior citizens in the area as they interviewed them. Kip was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gordy. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Ruth; children, Cindy Hayes and husband Mike, Steve Swenson and wife Karen, Sue Lee and husband Mike; 9 grandchildren; sisters, Janet Olson and husband Don, JoAnn Fleury and husband Greg; sister-in-law, Marlys Swenson as well as other loving relatives and friends. Funeral service was held on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Bloomington Lutheran Church in Bloomington, MN. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.[[In-content Ad]]
