MINNEAPOLIS - Claris "Clare" Bontjes, of Minneapolis, Minn., passed away suddenly of a heart attack in her home on June 3, 2010, at the age of 77.

Clare, along with her sister Jean, spent many summers at their cabin on Woman Lake, until health issues caused them to return to Minneapolis. Clare attended the Longville Community Church while in Longville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Edrie, and brother, Robert Nelson.

She is survived by her sister, Jean Breitenfeldt of Spokane, Wash.; sister-in-law, Karen Nelson; four nieces and one nephew.

Services were held at the Lakewood Cemetery Chapel on June 8, 2010.[[In-content Ad]]
